People from across the UK, who have experienced life-impacting medical news, are invited to coming together to build the credibility of a lifestyle change as a standard first-line medical approach, in the world of neurosciences.
The day's agenda, which was curated from two detailed online Zoom sessions, with the developing 'Braincare Faculty' is as follows:
The main aims we hope to achieve by running Braincare 2024 include:
Growing and strengthening the voice of trauma-informed living and lived experiences;
Calling for a radical rethink at Governmental level, in how pharmaceutical drugs are currently prescribed and deprescribed. To optimise the management of both a person’s mental & physical wellbeing, living with brain and mind related conditions.
To bring your living experience voice and to be part of the much-needed discussions and conversations, on the 30th of September, register your name and email address with us here.
To be totally transparent, there is a cost to host this event at Edgbaston, especially given the room hire and catering needs. To help us cover as much of those costs as possible, we invite everyone who intends to be at the conference to become a member of The Person-Centred Neurosciences Society, at £45. Alternatively, we invite you to make a minimum donation of £45 to the Lifestyle Health Foundation.
Should we receive donations in excess of £45 per person, ie funds that cover the conference costs, those funds will be put towards future costs of producing the likes of post-conference media materials to support the development of the BrainCare movement.
