Learning to Use Therapy Outcome Data: 'Analysing, interpreting and creating a 'story'', is a timely and exciting new workshop from the Community Therapists Network. The workshop has been developed to support any therapy service that is seeking to learn and apply various practical and key techniques, to optimise the presentation and sharing of outcomes data; outcomes data collecting using the likes of the Therapy Outcome Measures (TOMs).
This is a workshop we are thrilled to be launching and running with leading data analyst Neil Pettinger, who spent 22 years working as an information manager in the NHS and has been a freelance healthcare analyst and trainer since 2008.
If you have previously attended TOMs CONNECT conferences you will already by familiar with Neil's excellent skills as a leading data analyst, and storyteller with data.
Aims and objectives:
Show AHPs how to use Therapy Outcomes Data to support service improvement narratives.
Workshop style:
Use real – anonymized – data from AHP services to go through a series of case studies, creating reports and presentations. Participants are encouraged to bring laptops for fuller participation.
Topics /techniques covered:
•Differences in approach between spoken word presentations and written word documents
